Great Fairy Cotera, located near Dueling Peaks Stable in West Necluda, requires the rhythmic sound of a drum to emerge from her closed floral bud. To satisfy her request, Link must track down the troupe's missing percussionist and resolve a short quest to bring music back to the region.
Locating the Missing Drummer in West Necluda
To begin the quest for the drum, travelers should first head toward Dueling Peaks Stable and speak with Mastro, the leader of the Stable Trotters. Mastro explains that their talented drummer, Beetz, has wandered off toward Kakariko Village after hearing rumor of rhythmic sounds in the hills. Following the main road north toward Kakariko Village leads into a narrow canyon path where faint drumming can be heard echoing off the cliff walls.
Beetz is tucked away inside a small rock alcove on the right side of the road, residing in a small camping tent. This location matches the spot where players previously encountered Hestu during early quests in Breath of the Wild. Speaking with Beetz reveals that he wants to make a sweet treat to boost his energy before reuniting with his musical companions.
Gathering Ingredients for the Honey Quest
Before Beetz agrees to bring his drum back to the troupe, he asks Link to fetch three units of Courser Bee Honey. If you do not already have this item in your inventory, several hives can be found in nearby forests, particularly the trees directly behind Cotera's fountain. Players can also search the forested area near the East Hill Chasm just outside Kakariko Village to gather the necessary honeycombs.
